i'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate the canoeing team for getting 1st runner-up in the B Girls overall team award. well done everybody! :D
this year's nationals was certainly better than last year's.
if you guys wanna know, marl+wanlin and angeline+jyan competed in the same race. yes, stressful.
marl+wanlin managed to secure themselves a medal, and i'm happy for them. as for angeline+jyan, they were very very close to getting 3rd, missed by only a few seconds. but heyyy, it was certainly a good race, wasn't it? don't be disappointed alright? happiness is infectious, and so is sadness. smile smile smileeeeee! (:
somehow, i feel real sad for the NJ boat. they were supposed to be 1st, but their position got taken away because they finished the race in the wrong lane. it was really such a pity, to see them crying so
so
badly when they came up. i would feel real terrible if i were in their shoes.
everyone else also did very well, especially the sec3s and sec2 boys (:
there is still room for improvement, and i'm sure that with consistent worked-hard-for training, they'll all be able to achieve better :D
i've said so much, i'm so sorry for writing such a long post when this blog isn't even solely mine.
been missing out alot in school, hope i'll be able to catch up!
